Wednesday 6th June at the Cheltenham Science Festival with Meridian

5 Jun 2018 - 10 Jun 2018

Cheltenham, UK

This week the Meridian team are at the Cheltenham Science Festival as we delve into the world of science to inspire the people who will bring the future of mobility to our streets. You can find us in the Discover Zone every day from Tuesday 5th June to Sunday 10th June.

On Wednesday 6th June we’re joined by Atkins with the FLOURISH and VENTURER projects on the Meridian stand.

Atkins: Join our representatives from the innovative and collaborative VENTURER and FLOURISH research and development projects, exploring the next steps needed for the successful implementation of Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAVs) on the UK’s roads.

Visit us to learn about the work of the two projects and to take part in an interactive and informal discussion session about driverless cars, what they mean to you and the future of transport.  We look forward to hearing your ideas!

Co-funded by the UK government, VENTURER is a rich partnership of public, private and academic experts, which focuses on the users as well as the technology enabling CAVs, to understand the blockers and drivers to wide-scale adoption of CAV capability.

FLOURISH is a multi-sector collaboration, which is co-funded by the UK government. It seeks to develop products and services which are inclusive and maximise the benefits of CAVs for all users and transport authorities.
